3)   P.H. Core Function of Assurance:  Link People to Needed Services

Goal:  To link people to needed services.  We need to efficiently and effectively link people to needed services and resources.  This is to be done by requiring health care professionals to be informed of services and educational opportunities offered to the community, as well as how to access them.  Also, these services must be marketed to the public in an effective manner.  Doing so will meet the essential service requirement and demonstrate competency in the core function of assurance.
