4) P.H. Core Function of Policy Development: Mobilize Community Partnerships (Holly, Christy, Julianna, Linda, Rita) Goal: To mobilize community partnerships by creating emotion so that the community owns an issue and rallies around it.
This is to be done by promoting community ownership of pertinent public health issues in Richland County. To do this, we must educate the public of the vital importance of public health through media and advertisements. Doing so meets the essential service requirement and establishes competency in the core function of policy development.
