5) P.H. Core Function of Policy Development: Mobilize Community Partnerships
Goal: To mobilize community partnerships by developing multi-faceted approaches to brining awareness and buy-in from community members. This is to be done by instituting an annual conference to communicate ideas in areas surrounding public health. This conference should be representative of the entire county and therefore mandate at least one representative for each county organization involved in public health. Doing so will meet the essential service requirement and establish competency in the core function of policy development.
