RSVP Overview
RSVP is one of three programs that form Senior Corps; the other two being the Foster Grandparents and Senior Companion Programs. Senior Corps is sponsored nationally by the Corporation for National & Community Service (CNCS). Although Senior Corps is not as well known as other CNCS programs such as AmeriCorps VISTA and Learn & Serve America, it is just as vital in meeting the needs of the communities in which these programs serve.
Locally, RSVP recruits seniors aged 55 and older to serve with non-profit organizations and faith-based agencies located within Richland & McCone Counties in Montana. Volunteers choose the number of hours they would like to serve.
