In order to view the County Road Map, your computer will need to have Autodesk Viewer, freely distributed by Autodesk Systems. Click the box below to install the viewer onto your computer.

Once your computer has the Autodesk Viewer installed, click on the County Logo above to view the map - it will take it a minute to load...
The viewer will supply you with the tools you need to navigate and print the map.

The Richland County Public Works Division includes the Road & Bridge Departments and the Solid Waste District.  We can be reached by phone (406-433-2407), fax (406-433-7118), or email (coworks@richland.org).

The Road & Bridge Departments handle construction and maintenance of county roads and bridges. These Departments operate out of the County Shop which  is located at 2140 West Holly Street (between the Richland County Fairgrounds and the Sidney Country Club) in Sidney, MT 59270.

The Solid Waste District manages the Richland County Landfill, which is located 11 miles northwest of Sidney, along Montana State Highway 16 (one mile southeast of the Highway 16 & Highway 201 intersection). The direct phone line for the landfill is 406-798-3352.

There are also canister sites at Savage, Lambert, & Elmdale, which are accessible at any time for household quantities only.  Truck loads must be hauled to the landfill during operating hours.
