Arthritis Management/Exercise Programs

Stay Active & Independent for Life (SAIL)

We are excited to announce that our Summer SAIL class has started!

SAIL is a 12-week, evidence-based falls-prevention program for older adults that is designed to prevent falls through exercise and education.

The SAIL program is a fitness class that includes aerobics, balance exercises, strength training with wrist and ankle weights, and stretching exercises to prevent falls.

Additionally, participants receive information on home safety, safe footwear, medication, and vision health.

Please register below to be contacted for our next 12-week class in September 2025.

Become a SAIL Leader

If you are interested in becoming a certified SAIL Leader so you can help provide more SAIL classes in the area please let us know.

The Montana Falls Prevention Program holds leader training throughout the state and we'd love to send some new trainers. The program itself will cover the cost of the training and travel. All you need is time, a willingness to learn, and enjoy working with seniors.

Call (406) 433-3701 for more information.

Improve Strength and Balance

Balance exercises are one of the best ways to protect yourself against injuries due to falls. There are numerous exercises you can do from the comfort of your own home. Below you will find a couple videos to help you get started.
