Need help paying for breast and cervical screenings?
Regular screenings save lives — and cost should never be a barrier.
The Montana Breast and Cervical Screening Program provides free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings and education for eligible women across Montana.
You may qualify if you:
  • Are uninsured or underinsured, and
  • Meet Montana Cancer Control income guidelines
If you have insurance but your deductible is more than $200 and you meet income guidelines, this program may still help.

It never hurts to call and ask about the program you might qualify!
Screening services available:
Breast screening
  • Women ages 40–74 may receive a free mammogram
Cervical screening
  • Women ages 21–74 may receive a free Pap test
  • Women ages 30–74 may receive a free Pap test and HPV test
What the program provides:
  • Mammograms
  • Clinical breast exams
  • Pap tests
  • Diagnostic testing for follow-up of abnormal screening results
