Richland County Transit "We're Going Places"Welcome to Richland County Transit! I want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about Richland County's ONLY public transit agency. We welcome passengers of ALL ages (passengers under 8 cannot ride unattended) and for all destinations within our service area. RCT is happy to offer FREE rides as we serve all of Richland County's major towns/cities (Sidney, Fairview, Lambert, Savage) at least one time each week.
RCT has 9 vehicles. All vehicles are ADA accessible and many have special features to accommodate a range of passengers. With everything from integrated car seats to bicycle racks, RCT strives to make our service work for everyone. If there is anything I can do to make your experience with RCT more enjoyable, please don't hesitate to let me know. I am available in the office weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm and available by e-mail 24 hours per day. We hope that you will find RCT to be a safe and convenient mode of travel for you and your family. What's New?RCT is excited to share a new wheelchair securement system that we currently have installed on two of our vehicles. This system not only ensures the safest ride for our passengers who use wheelchairs but it also helps our drivers and reduces the stop time for those who need securement which increases our available time for other rides.
The video to the right shows how quickly and safely a wheelchair can be secured with this new system. This is one more way RCT strives to make our service as safe and reliable for our passengers as possible. |
