Richland County DES is in the process of updating our Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The Richland County Hazard Mitigation Plan is a document and plan that defines the larger Hazards, both man-made and natural, that Richland County may face. Utilizing this plan, key personnel can prepare for and mitigate for these Hazards and to protect the County Residents.

A 2024 DRAFT copy of the Mitigation Plan has been completed.
