Planning Department Mission Statement:The Planning Department vision is to serve Richland County and the public in land use planning development capacities, with a commitment to integrity, respect for others, professionalism and transparency.
Planning Department Services:The Planning Department provides services in land use development and growth through planning, zoning, subdivision review, buildings for lease or rent review, and workforce housing zoning review and addressing the needs of special or rural districts in Richland County, Montana.
The Planning Department provides support to Richland County Commission, which include the unincorporated communities in Richland County (Crane, Lambert, and Savage) and the Town of Fairview. If you need assistance with land use planning within the city limits of the City of Sidney please contact the City Office.
