Richland County cares about its senior citizens. Below you will find links to some helpful services that enable seniors to remain living a quality life, independently, for as long as possible. The Richland County Commission on Aging has a number of programs that range from nutrition, health and wellness, socialization and homemaking services. Find out more about the Commission on Aging. You can also apply for services on-line. Richland County Commission on Aging "Connecting Seniors in their Community" The Richland County Commission on Aging (RCCOA) offers a number of services to help our area Seniors (age 60 and over) continue to live as independently as possible. Our services are aimed at health, nutrition, socialization, and transportation. The RCCOA is funded by federal and state grants, county funds, and generous local contributions. All programs are open to seniors age 60 and over, regardless of income level. Register for Services One quick form (PDF) is all you need to fill out to take advantage of the majority of RCCOA's Senior services. You can obtain the form by visiting your local Senior Center or the RCCOA Office. If you have filled out a form in the past, please make sure that you update it to reflect your current emergency contact and service needs.
