E-Waste
E-rase Your E-Waste is an annual recycling drive to collect and recycle electronic waste. This effort is now in it's 20th year and has kept more than 500,000 pounds, or 250 tons, of e-waste out of our local landfill. This event is coordinated by members of the Richland County Health Department, the Town of Fairview, and the USDA Agricultural Research Lab in Sidney. Richland County Public Works also makes their facilities freely available for the collection event.
The 2025 event will be held on September 19th from 3 - 7 PM and September 20th from 9 - noon at Richland County Public Works shop, located at 2140 West Holly in Sidney; and in Fairview on September 20th from 10 - noon at the water depot.
We partner with Yellowstone E-waste Solutions to recycle our e-waste. Visit their site to see what they accept!
Recycling is free with the following exceptions: There is a small fee for hard drive destruction and a $25 charge for TV's. This is paid to Yellowstone E-waste Solutions.
Do you have a large amount of e-waste? Contact Heather Luinstra at 406-433-2207 to schedule a drop-off!
