Library Staff
Shelby R. Children's Librarian Shelby leads Storytime, hosts Lego Club, and is responsible for the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program. She enjoys helping SRCL’s younger patrons find joy in reading and discovering new books. Shelby is a Sidney native who joined the SRCL staff in 2023 after finishing her master’s degree in Archival & Information Studies. In April 2024, Shelby completed her Montana State Library Certification, with a specialization in Library Services to the Public. In her free time, she likes to travel and complete diamond paintings. |
Kathryn M. Teen & Adult Services Kathryn is the Teen and Adult Services Librarian at Sidney-Richland County Library. She joined the SRCL staff in February 2020. Kathryn is currently certified with the Montana State Library. In her free time she likes to read, craft and play board games with her husband and three children. 
Heather C. Director Heather is the Library Director. She has 10 years library experience with an Associates in Administrative Assistant & Bachelors in Office Management & Public Relations along with many years of on going education through the Montana State Library. She believes libraries are an important necessity & centerpiece for a community and offers something for everyone. She is from Glendive but moved to Sidney in 1993. She has been married 30 years and has two sweet puppies, Gertie & Booker. She loves to spoil her dogs, read, lift weights, golf, get tattoos and collect Batman stuff. |
Miranda E. Interlibrary Loan & Special Services Librarian Miranda is the Interlibrary Loan and Special Services Librarian. Miranda is a Richland County native, and joined the SRCL staff in January 2015. Miranda has been certified with the Montana State Library since 2015, with specializations in Collection Development, and Library Services to the Public, she has also completed Library Administration and Leadership courses. In her free time she enjoys cooking, crocheting, and reading. |
